Packaging Mishap...

You know how they always say "Silence is golden, unless you have a puppy"? Well that rang true for Duke the other day.

I hear a package crinkle and I find Duke licking Snook's dog food bag. Thought I had corrected him and he would stay with me in the office. Wrapped up a call and I heard the noise again. Then I realize that Duke had scratched the bag open and was eating food from the hole. He was trying to lick the bag and his tongue would stick to the bag.

I couldn't figure out why his tongue was sticking to the bag, but then I saw that he had a piece of packaging tape stuck to his tongue. I think I got a bag at Costco that had been cut by accident and taped before putting it on the shelf.

So not only was he eating Snook's food after making the cut big enough, but he also had tape on his tongue! I laughed a lot but then had to re-tape the opening shut. I moved the bag up on the shelf and went back to work. Duke came into the office and once again had packaging tape stuck. He got the new piece of tape off the bag once again...

Don't let the cute puppy face fool you...there's a lot of scheming going on behind that face!

And by the way, Snook was eating food from the bag too once Duke opened it further for him! Snook should not teach Duke bad habits! Maybe we need to talk Snook...
