(Duke wanted to write the blog this time!)
Hey everyone - it's Duke! I have been really busy with mom and Snook so we are all sorry about being behind in writing a few posts!
I am now 14 months old and mom insists that I keep learning and that I follow directions (and I know I should). I am after all a "teenage puppy" with lots of hormones and attitude! HA HA
My activities (playing with toys, chewing and running around, mostly) are too much fun to stop and do what she wants me to sometimes! Socks are really fun to play with and chew on (shh don't tell mom)!
I did have fun with family over Christmas, especially since they all came to MY house! I showed them how I play and how lovey I am. They even gave me and Snook new bones and treats - those are the best presents ever!
When this posts, I will be in the middle of a board and train program for a few more days (it's two full weeks long) working on commands but I hope I get to have fun too! I will fill you in on my experience in the next post when I get back! This is the longest time I will have had away from Snook and my mom but I will be so excited to see them when they pick me up!
(That's all for now, so here's mom)
Hope everyone had a great holiday season and we wish you all a happy 2025!
Sara, Snook and Duke

P.S. When I dropped Duke off he was so excited to go with Shanna (the trainer) and to explore where he was going to be for the two weeks. I am missing his energy in the house (I think Snook is enjoying the quiet) but I have high hopes that this program will help him get more consistent with his basic commands so we can keep making progress toward service work.
Thanks to Lulu London for the cute bandanas!
