Curiosity

Duke is a puppy, I know, but he is a sweet boy with lots of curiosity! Duke is very loving and follows me around all the time. He turns his head to the side when you ask him questions even though he may only recognize a few words like "Do you...?", "outside", and "dinner".

My favorite part is that Duke watches every time Snook alerts. When I acknowledge Snook's alert, he comes running if he isn't already sitting next to him. He watches everything happening. If you look in his eyes, he is trying to figure out what is happening and why Snook gets a treat for putting his paw on my leg. He waits patiently for Snook to get his treats for the alert first and never breaks eye contact until he gets his treat for watching.

That curiosity is a great sign that he will learn what it means to alert me and be great at it!
